Nagpur: The senior NCP leader and MLA Ajit Pawar toed the line of Raj Thackeray of “Marathi Manoos”and Marathi language.

Talking to media persons at Vidhan Bhavan, Pawar bluntly refused to speak in Hindi. When a scribe requested Pawar to speak in Hindi after conversation in Marathi, the NCP leader bluntly refused to do so and retorted, “Hindi aapke paas rakho” (Keep Hindi with you).

Notably, Ajit Pawar is prominent leader in Maharashtra and was former Chief Minister. On Tuesday, Pawar himselh came to the media stand in Vidhan Bhavan and put his views on day’s proceedings in Assembly in Marathi. After he finished talking in Marathi, a Hindi media scribe requested Pawar to speak in Hindi. But instead of accepting the request, Pawar bluntly refused to so and retorted, “Hindi aapke pass rakho.”

It seems the NCP too trying to woo voters on the Marathi language issue on the lines of Shiv Sena and MNS keeping in mind the coming elections.
