Nagpur: A dispute over a car parked on a road in the Siddharth Nagar-Teka area escalated into an alleged assault and vandalism, prompting Pachpaoli police to register cross FIRs against both sides.
The incident took place on the evening of September 20.

According to the complaint, Sheikh Arman Sheikh Nasir was travelling on his Activa carrying coal when he came across a car parked in front of the houses of Vaibhav Khaparde and Shridhar Khaparde in Siddharth Nagar-Teka.
Arman allegedly asked that the car be moved, following which an argument broke out between the two sides.
The verbal dispute allegedly turned into a physical confrontation, with accusations of abuse and assault being exchanged.
According to Arman’s complaint, Vaibhav Khaparde allegedly attacked him with an iron rod, striking his right hand and causing injuries.
Arman further alleged that his associate Aman Abdul Kaleem was also assaulted during the confrontation. He claimed that his Shine motorcycle was damaged, causing an estimated loss of around Rs 6,000.
The other side subsequently approached the police with a counter-complaint.
According to the complaint from the opposite side, Arman and his associates allegedly damaged the car, causing losses to the vehicle.
After receiving complaints from both sides, Pachpaoli police registered cross cases and began investigating the allegations.
Police are examining the circumstances that led to the confrontation and are verifying the allegations made by both groups.
What began as a seemingly routine dispute over a vehicle parked on the road thus escalated into allegations of assault and property damage, with police now investigating both versions of the incident.
