Nagpur: “Optimum development of South Nagpur is my avowed goal,” thundered Kiran Pandav while launching a highly successful public contact tour and “Padayatra” as part of his Assembly election campaign. Kiran Pandav is in fray as Shiv Sena candidate with “Dhanush-Ban” (Arrow-Bow) symbol.
Beginning his public contact tour and “Padayatra” in the morning at 8.30, the firebrand leader first visited Hanuman Temple in Vishwakarma Nagar where a huge crowd of people had gathered. The area reverberated with high-pitched slogans ““Kiranbhau Aage Badho, Ham Tumhare Saath Hai” “Jai Maharashtra” “Vare Dhanush-Ban Aa Gaya Dhanush-Ban” “Dakshin Nagpur Ka Neta Kaisa Ho, Kiranbhau Jaisa Ho” shouted by workers.
After visiting Hanuman Temple in Vishwakarma Nagar, the juggernaut of Kiran Pandav rolled out in other areas like Adivasi Colony, NIT Colony, Tajnagar, Shivraj Nagar, Ramabai Nagar, Chandramani Nagar, Bajrang Nagar, Velekar Layout, Savitribai Fuley Nagar, and other areas. Kiran Pandav was cheeringly welcomed with garlands and bouquets and blessed by people of the areas. The “Padayatra” culminated at Hanuman Temple where Kiran Pandav addressed a meeting and declared that optimum development of South Nagpur would be his mission.
Kiran Pandav was accompanied by Girish Pandav, Anil Nagrare (Vice President, Shiv Sena Rural District), Yuva Sena District Chief Hitesh Yadav, Manoj Ghodmare, Ashish Dhenge, Moreshwar Jadhav, Sunil Chaudhary, Sunil Bhoskar, Vijay Pathak, Suhas Nanwatkar, Vilas Dhakre, Rajendra Walde, Rushika Khandar, and other hundreds of citizens and workers.
