    One person killed, 5 injured in head-on collision between bus and truck on Wardha road

    : In another unfortunate incident, a road mishap claimed the life of one passenger on the spot while 5 persons were grievously injured when a truck and a private bus collided head-on near Kelzar Village on Nagpur-Wardha Road early in the morning of December 17, 2016.

    According to sources the Pawan Travels bus was carrying workers from Butibori and going towards Wardha collided head on with a speeding truck coming from opposite direction near Kelzar.  One person was killed on the spot while five persons were grievously injured. The injured have been rushed to Sewagram Hospital for treatment. The condition of two passengers is said to be critical.

    The name of the deceased person is said to be Sachin Nagrale a resident of Wardha. It reported that the number of casualties may increase. Sources claimed that both, the driver of the bus and the driver of the truck were at fault.

    The In-Charge of Buti Bori Police Station Hemant Chandewar said that offences under Section 304 (A), 338, 279 of Indian Penal Code and under Section 184 of Motor Vehicle Act. Further investigations are underway.
