One more house-breaking theft in city; thieves loot valuables worth Rs 70,000

Nagpur News : Orange city, well known for its growth in all sectors, doesn’t seem to lack in growth in crime rate either. The number of house breaking thefts, loot, and burglary are on rise. And, police have certainly failed in controlling the ever increasing crime graph.

Adding to this list, a house breaking theft was reported under Ajni Police Station on Thursday. According to information, Deepak Bhaska Joshi (57), a resident of Plot No. 12, Dwarkapuri, Manewada Ring Road, behind Hanuman Temple, had gone to his office. His father was at home alone. Some unidentified thieves gained entry in the house from kitchen door and went to the bedroom. They looted silver, gold ornament, laptop and cell phone, collectively worth Rs 70,000. When Deepak came back from office, he discovered the theft. Deepak filled a complaint against unidentified thieves with Ajni Police Station. Cops registered an offence under Section 380 of the IPC, informed PI Katole. PSI Dabhade and team is further investigating the case.
