Nagpur: Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RSTNU) has instructed the examination centres to provide basic facilities at the examination centres where different examinations will be held.
The university administration has come up with the order following reports of unavailability of facilities like drinking water, fans, cooler and other amenities. The students appearing for the examination have to face several difficulties in absence of these facilities.
In a letter written to the examination supervisor, the university administration has asked to make a provision of a cooler room at each examination centre, where in the event of a candidate complaining of sunstroke can be accommodated and relaxed.
Similarly, the university has further directed the examination supervisor to ensure availability of ORS, Glucon D, gelusil tablets and syrup, thermometer at each centre. If a student comes up with some heat related problems, he should be attended to and his parents should be informed immediately.
Moreover, seating arrangements for pregnant women should be made in separate room with separate invigilator, the university has instructed.
