Popular reports suggest that Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been approached to play the titular role of beauty baroness Shahnaz Husain in a forthcoming biopic of sorts.
Previously, it was reported that global icon Priyanka Chopra was considered for the part, however, the writer of the script Kamlesh Pandey spilled the beans on what the makers were looking for in the leading lady. The report claimed that the makers wanted someone to bring on-screen “the tehzeeb and adab” of the character, for which they felt that Aishwarya fit the bill. While there has been no confirmation from the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ star, it will be interesting to see her play the part with élan.
