Nagpur: With the aim of making the city clean and beautiful, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is organizing “Shramdan” event under “Swachha Bharat Mission” from April 17 to May 29. The “Shramdan” will be held every Friday from 8 am to 10 am during the period in all the 10 Zones of NMC. The event will be led by Assistant Commissioners of respective zones.
The “Shramdan” will be participated by Corporators of every division, officials and employees working under the Assistant Commissioners.
Following Heads of Department have been handed over the responsibility of the “Shramdan” as Coordination Officers:
1) Executive Engineer Satish Neral – Laxminagar Zone No. 1
2) Executive Engineer Rahul Warke – Dharampeth Zone No. 2
3) Executive Engineer Dilip Jamgade – Hanuman Nagar Zone No. 3
4) Executive Engineer Mahesh Gupta – Dhantoli Zone No. 4
5) Executive Engineer Manoj Talewar – Nehru Nagar Zone No. 5
6) City Engineer Sanjay Gaekwad – Gandhibagh Zone No. 6
7) Executive Engineer Sanjay Jaiswal – Laxminagar Zone No. 7
8) Executive Engineer Shyam Chavan – Ashi Nagar Zone No. 8
9) Garden Superintendent N B Shrikhande – Lakadganj Zone No. 9
10) Estate Officer D D Jambhulkar – Mangalwari Zone No. 10
