Nitya Nalakonda from Modern High School and Monish Buti from Bhavans School Civil Lines emerged winners in the Under-17 Lawn championship by scoring 4-0 and 4-1 respectively, in the Inter-school Lawn-Tennis Nagpur Divisional Tournament respectively, which was organized at Officers Club on October 16, 2013.
In the U-17 boys final, Monish Buti from Bhavans School Civil Lines defeated Nirbhay Thakkar from Centre Point School Wardhaman Nagar by scoring 4-1. Manan Daga (Bhavans Civil Lines), Arjur Sabbineni (D Y Patil), Rajshekhar Jha (Bhavans, Civil Lines), Rahul Soni (Centre Point, Wardhaman Nagar) were in the 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th and stand point position
In the U-17 girls final, Nitya Nalakonda from Modern School beat Rashmi Thakkar from Centre Point School, Dhaba by 4-0. Sneha Ranade (Somalwar Nicholas), Prajesh Naidu (Mahrshi Vidyalaya Chandrapur), Anjali Kirpali (Centre Point, Katol Rd), Purva Anasane (Modern School) were in respective positions of 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th and stand point position.
All the above players are selected for the State-level Under-17 Lawn Tennis championship
