Nikhil Zade: A social crusader in the making!

Nagpur: January 12 holds significance in the minds of crores and crores of young boys and girls across India not only because it is birthday of Swami Vivekanand but the day is also celebrated as National Youth Day. The day inspires many a youth to serve the society and the country in a befitting manner. Nagpur Today, keeping in mind the social responsibility it cherishes to fulfill, is trying to introduce a brand of youths who were till now ordinary souls. But today, they are a source of inspiration by their firm will power to do unique and extraordinary deeds. One of such outstanding youth is Nikhil Arun Zade.

Nikhil is just 20-year old. When countless others of his age could be found whiling away their times in meaningless chores, Nikhil, with great efforts, has gathered 500-600 youth in his fold, of course for a cause. “To achieve something extraordinary and to give something extraordinary as well.” By profession, Nikhil is a Final Year student of IT Branch in Datta Meghe Polytechnic. But he has penchant for social service simultaneously while studying. He has since long been connected with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and is Vice President of City Unit.

Recently, as a part of social service, Nikhil went a step ahead and deployed a high-speed Wi-Fi system at vantage Futala Lake that will provide free access to poor and studying youths and other needy people. The Wi-Fi system has a range up to 1000 metres and at least 50 persons can utilize the system simultaneously. This venture of Nikhil received accolades and appreciation from a vast section of society not only in Nagpur but other cities as well. The Wi-Fi system is giving access to Internet services of needy people for 24 hours, that too free of cost. “This is a small step towards the quest for bigger ventures to be undertaken in future” declared the young Nikhil Zade with a broad smile and happiness flashing his face.
