Nagpur: National Tourism Award for the year 2013-2014 was presented to Shreya Travels, Nagpur in the category of Tourist Transport Operators (Category II) Thrid Prize for outstanding achievement and contribution to the promotion of tourism in the country. The President of India Shri Pranab Mukerjee was the Chief Guest and gave away the awards. Presiding over the function was Dr Mahesh Sharma, Minister of the State (Independent) for Tourism & Culture and Minister of the State for Civil Aviation. Manisha Vijay Golchha Properitor & Capt. Vijay Kamal Golchha, CEO collected the award. This is our fourth award in last four years.
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India annually presents National Tourism Awards to various segments of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. These awards are presented to State Governments / Union Territories, classified hotels, heritage hotels, approved travel agents, tour operators and tourist transport operators, individuals and other private organizations in recognition of their performance in their respective fields and also to encourage healthy
competition with an aim to promote tourism. The National Tourism Awards have over the years emerged as a prestigious recognition of achievements in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.
