Nagpur: A 26-year-old woman has accused her husband’s friend of sexually assaulting her and allegedly forcing her into repeated physical relations by threatening her husband. Based on her complaint, Yashodhara Nagar Police registered a case and arrested the accused.
The accused has been identified as Shahrukh Sheikh, 26, who is reportedly a friend of the woman’s husband. Due to the friendship, he frequently visited the woman’s residence.

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly established physical relations with the woman against her wishes during one such visit. When she objected, he allegedly threatened to kill her husband if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
The woman further alleged that the accused used the threat to force her into repeated physical relations.
Following the complaint, Yashodhara Nagar Police registered a case under relevant sections related to rape and began further investigation. The accused, Shahrukh Sheikh, has been arrested in connection with the case.
