
Nagpur: Panic broke out at Wathoda Chowk after a private school bus carrying several students suddenly caught fire. As flames began spreading, local residents and shopkeepers rushed to the spot and helped evacuate the children from the bus.
Some students were reportedly pulled out through the bus windows as people nearby worked quickly to ensure everyone got to safety.
Fire Suspected to Have Started Due to Wiring Short Circuit
According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in the bus wiring. Eyewitnesses said the fire initially appeared to have started in the rear portion of the bus before rapidly intensifying.
The sudden blaze created panic among the students and people in the surrounding area.
Locals Rush to Rescue Students
As soon as the fire was noticed, nearby residents and shopkeepers immediately came forward to help. They began evacuating the students from the bus and ensured that they were moved away from the vehicle.
