Nagpur: A shocking murder case linked to suspicion, strained relationships, and growing anger has created a sensation in the city. A man allegedly killed a loan agent after suspecting him of having a close friendship with his wife. The Crime Branch has cracked the case and arrested two accused in connection with the murder.
According to police, the accused, Umang Dadve, along with his associate Sandesh Bhosale, allegedly murdered Ajay Shrivas in Nagpur. The deceased Ajay was reportedly the college friend of the accused’s wife, and the two were said to be in regular contact, which had fueled the husband’s suspicions.
Investigators revealed that continuous domestic disputes and mistrust had created tension between the couple for a long time. After an argument following their son’s birthday celebration, the wife reportedly left for her parental home and filed a complaint against her husband. Police said the accused became even more enraged after receiving a divorce notice.
The investigation further revealed that the husband’s suspicions deepened due to an extra SIM card allegedly used by his wife and frequent communication between her and Ajay. Police claim the accused then conducted surveillance before carrying out a planned attack. He allegedly entered the victim’s flat and fatally assaulted him with a sharp weapon.
After the murder, both accused reportedly fled the scene calmly. However, based on technical investigation and confidential inputs, Crime Branch Unit-2 tracked down and arrested the duo. Further investigation is underway by Gittikhadan Police Station.
The incident has once again highlighted how suspicion and uncontrolled anger within personal relationships can take a deadly turn.
