Nagpur: SC allows 2nd round counselling for MBBS, BDS admissions

Nagpur: The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the All India counseling of second round of Central quota for MBBS and BDS admissions. The Supreme Court overruled the order of Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court, which had stayed the counselling round for OBC quota.

NEET 2018 All India Quota Counseling 2nd allotment result were released by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) on its official website mcc.nic.in.

MCC released the allotment letters for candidates, who have made it to the 2nd Allotment list. The second list for MBBS admissions in Maharashtra was not released yet as the All India Quota counselling round is under process and will be held till August 8.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) said that the NEET-UG second list will only be declared after the vacant All-India quota seats are surrendered to the State. DMER further added that within two-three days, admissions at State-level would start and will be updated on the official website dmer.org as soon as the vacant list of All India Quota seats are surrendered.
