Nagpur: Continuing its crackdown on illegal activities across the city, Nagpur Police’s Special Escort Team busted an illegal Satta Patti gambling racket in the Jaripatka area, arresting 11 persons and seizing cash, mobile phones and gambling materials worth ₹67,000.
The operation was carried out under the guidance of Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil. Acting on a tip-off received by Escort Squad In-charge API Bhagwan Koli, police raided a gambling den at Misal Layout near HUDCO Chowk under the Jaripatka Police Station limits.

During the raid, officers caught 11 accused allegedly involved in operating and participating in the illegal betting activity.
Police seized ₹34,050 in cash, three mobile phones worth ₹33,000, and gambling-related materials, taking the total value of seized property to around ₹67,000.
A case has been registered against all the accused under the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act, and further investigation is underway.
