Nagpur orange in market abroad; credit goes to Gadkari, Chandrakant Patil

  Nagpur oranges have now found market abroad, all owing to the efforts made by Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Cooperative Minister Chandrakantdada Patil.

Export agency Maha Orange, whose orange export business was shut down over several years, could export 26 tons of Nagpur oranges to Sri Lanka on November 9, 2015 at 4 pm.

The unveiling ceremony of orange boxes was performed at the hands of Nitin Gadkari.

With this, Maha Oranges is now trying increase its export business and export Nagpur oranges to Arab/ Middle East nations. This development will help grow the financial condition of orange growers.

The export of Nagpur oranges is a step added to the progress of Nagpur city, said Jayant Dixit, PRO in a press note.
