    Nagpur BJP leader Jaiprakash Gupta appointed as Central member of Khadi and Village Industries Commission

    The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), under the directives of Union MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari, appointed senior BJP leader Jaiprakash Gupta as the Central member of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission on Saturday.

    Gupta has been bestowed the responsibility of promoting micro, small and medium industries and improving the MSME products for technical and marketing purposes, as well as to empower ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’

    Since past 46 years, Gupta has been active in the social, political, educational and cultural fields. His is an executive member of the BJP state executive committee and Secretary of Khasdar Cultural Festival Committee.

    He is also a trustee of Nagpur Reform Prayas NIT, Executive Member of Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) Has already has work experience at many important government committees at central and state level.

    The senior BJP leader expressed his gratitude to Gadkari for the responsibility and assured him to execute his responsibility with full devotion and dedication.

    He also thanked former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, former Minister of Forests Chandrashekhar Bawankule, former Member of Rajya Sabha Ajay Sancheti, Organization Minister of Vidarbha Dr Upendra Kothekar, BJP President of Nagpur Praveen Datke, Nagpur Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, Rajya Sabha Member Dr Vikas Mahatme, MLA Krishna Khopde, Girish Vyas, Vikas Kumbhare, Mohan Mate, Pariney Phuke, former MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh, Anil Sole, Milind Mane, Sudhakar Kolhe, former Nagpur Mayor Sandeep Joshi and other officials for his appointment.
