Nagpur: Unit 2 of the Nagpur Crime Branch on Wednesday busted a hookah parlour operating under the guise of a cafe at Brother’s Cafe, Mount Road, Sadar.
Besides seizing 10 hookah pots and other materials worth Rs. 29,900, the police have also booked cafe owner Ishwar Naresh Subhlewar (22), a resident of Model Mill Chowk, Ganeshpeth, and manager Bushwn Ashok Gondane (27), a resident of Somwari Quarter.
An offence under relevant sections has been registered against the accused. Further investigations are ongoing.
Action was taken under the supervision of DCP Crime and other senior officers.
