Nagpur: Police have arrested two more suspects in connection with the killing of 14-year-old Abid alias Abu Razzaq Sheikh following an alleged attack stemming from an old dispute in Nagpur’s Jaripatka area. Crime Branch Unit-3 arrested 21-year-old Hrithik Sanjay Usarbarse and 19-year-old Lucky Ashok Chevle.
With these arrests, the total number of accused arrested in the case has reached 10, including two minors.

The incident took place on the night of September 24 near Ginger Mall at Jaripatka Chowk. According to police, a group of around 10 to 12 people allegedly attacked Abid and his friend Antaral Singh following an old dispute. Both sustained serious injuries in the attack.
They were taken to Mayo Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared Abid dead during treatment. His friend continues to receive medical treatment.
Dispute Over Earlier Birthday Party
During the investigation, police reportedly found that the dispute stemmed from an incident around three months earlier at a birthday party in Vaishali Nagar Garden. The old dispute allegedly resurfaced at Jaripatka Chowk and subsequently turned violent.
Police had earlier arrested eight accused, including Sohel Mohammad Riyaz Rangrez, Manish Manoj Vaishnav, Vipul Vaishya and Nilesh Amburkar. Two of those arrested were minors.
Crime Branch Unit-3 has now arrested the two remaining accused who were allegedly absconding. After their medical examination, both were handed over to Jaripatka Police for further legal proceedings.
The investigation into the case is continuing.
