Muttemwar holds 13 public meetings in a day, LS election campaign reaches a feverish pitch

Nagpur News: Campaign of Vilas Muttemwar has reached a feverish pitch when the Congress candidate for Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency held 13 public meetings on a single day. Muttemwar is joint candidate of Congress, NCP, People’s Republican Party, Bahujan Samaj Ekta Manch, Lokmanch and Republican Party (Khobragade).

Since yesterday’s massive padyatra in the morning, Muttemwar addressed 13 public meetings till 10 pm. The meetings were held in Mahakalkar Sabhagruh, Deepnagar, Gurudwara, Nara Road, Atre Layout, Naik Talao, Imambada, Ganeshpeth, Martin Nagar, Jaffer Nagar, Narmada Colony, Katol Road, Teka Naka Nayi Basti etc. Similarly, at 9.30 pm, Muttemwar’s campaign office was inaugurated in Central Nagpur’s Mominpura area.

The Naik Talao meeting was also addressed by Anees Ahmed, former NCCC President Jaiprakash Gupta, Raju Deoghare, Bandopant Tembhurne, and Muttemwar himself. A large number of weavers’ community members were present at the meeting. The Imambada meeting was held at Kundanlal Gupta Library ground.

The meeting was organized by NSUI President Ajit Kher, Youth Congress General Secretary Rohit Khairwar, Scheduled Caste Cell of Congress Vice President Sunil Jadhav. The meeting was addressed by Jogendra Kawade, MLA Dinanath Padole, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Anil Deshmukh, City NCP President Ajay Patil, former MLA Ashok Dhawad and senior party worker of the area Ganesh Lonare. Hundreds of citizens and Congress and Front workers were present at the meeting. The meeting in North Nagpur’s Azad Chowk, Teka Naka Nayi Basti was addressed by People’s Republican Party Founder President Jogendra Kawade, Anil Deshmukh, Maulana Habib Rizvi, and Muttemwar.

This meeting was also attended by Hundreds of citizens and Congress and Front workers were present at the meeting. Similarly, the meetings at other places were addressed former MP Gev Awari, Raja Dronkar, Ved Prakash Arya, Philips Jaiswal, Vinod Sonkar, Varsha Shamkule and others.

In address at all meetings, Muttemwar greeted people on the occasion on “Gudi Padwa.” Muttemwar further said that the 16th Lok Sabha elections will change the nation’s directions and situation. “When the nation became independent, population of country was 33 crore but still foodgrains were imported. Today, nation’s population has reached 126 crore. Agriculture land is same but godowns across the country are full to the brim and feeding 126 crore people. Moreover, we are exporting foodgrains to more than 25 countries. Congress brought the Food Security Bill making right to food a law. It is Congress which has kept the nation united and powerful. I appeal you to vote for Congress for further development of city and nation,” Muttemwar said.

Similarly, Vilas Muttemwar emabarked on a padayatra in South Nagpur for garnering more and more support from people.
