Nagpur: In a case bringing shame to humanity, a 34-year-old mute and deaf woman was raped by an unidentified man. The woman is, now, pregnant and had also attempted to immolate herself on Dusshera. As of now, the woman has been admitted in Mayo Hospital and the police is investigating the matter. The victim belongs to a labour class family and they got to know about the whole case 15 days ago.
The family even enquired about the culprit but she declined to answer. Under the stress, she tried to immolate herself on the day of Dusshera. The police awaits the woman to be able to talk to record her official statement.
