MP truck stolen from Kalamna, driver bound and thrown off

Nagpur News: Mukesh Saheblal, a Chhindwara (Madhya Pradesh) resident and driver of a truck (MP MP 22 H 0742) was resting with his helper Manish Tekam in the truck’s cabin near Jaiswal Garage, Kalamna, when two unknown people came upon them, accusing them of eve teasing and harassing women in the area. The two assailants then snatched the victims’ phone and Rs. 2000 cash, and tied them up at the back of the truck.  They then drove off with the truck, dropping Mukesh and Manish in an open field near Kisawa Police Station.

On the basis of the victims’ complaint, Kalamna Police has registered a case under sections 392, 342, 506 and 34 of the IPC. Hunt for the missing truck and the thieves is on.
