Missing trail continues, four more women disappear within week

Nagpur News : Three days back Nagpur-Today reported on the mysterious disappearing of the women from the city. While police was groping in the dark to look for the missing ladies, four more women including a minor girl went reportedly missing under various police stations. The cops were trying to work out different theories in these cases. While they doubted the case of abduction in few cases, even the eloping could not be overlooked in the other.

A minor girl Komal Rajkumar Chopkar, 14, had been missing since November 14, when she reportedly left for home from his maternal uncle’s house at Dobi Nagar in Wadi. In another incident, Meenu Shankar Haladkar, 19, did not return home since November 12. Her parents have launched intensive search and inquired about her at their kin’s place but to no avail.

Similarly, an elder woman Smita Vinayak Ghadole, 70, went missing mysteriously after she had gone out from her residence at Swawalambi Nagar near Ram Mandir on November 9. She was wearing maroon saree at the time she left the house. Meanwhile, another 26 year old woman Sushma Tukaram Awari went out of her house at Raghuji Nagar on November 15 but could not return since then.

The rising number of girls and women missing under mysterious circumstances has raised serious concern among the worrying citizens. While this has brought another nightmare to the city already reeling under serious crime activities, the police seem to be cross handed over the prevailing trend. The continuous missing reports certainly point towards something unusual that is yet to be unveiled.
