Nagpur: Maharashtra English Medium School Trustees Association (MESTA) District Secretary Kapil Umale has alleged disparity in distribution of the funds received under RTE. He said, a few months back under RTE funds of Rs 11.92 crores were received and no doubt, the funds were distributed to the schools but not full just Rs 11,43,31,887 and the remaining Re 40,81,721 were not distributed. He said that the schools were not given funds as per their bills. Some schools were given more while the others less.
Expressing displeasure over the whole affair he has demanded that the remaining funds be distributed immediately. He further alleged that the education department has been giving wrong information. He has submitted copies of memorandum to Education Officer, Zilla Parishad CEO and Deputy Director, Education.
