Nagpur: Crossing all limits of decency, unidentified perverts raped and sexually exploited a mentally challenged woman. Cops have now mounted a hunt to nab the offenders.
According to police, the mentally challenged and shell-shocked woman (around 26 years of age) was found wandering near Factory Square, Borgaon in Gittikhadan area. When cops took the helpless woman to Mayo Hospital for check up, doctors there discovered that the mentally challenged woman was raped. Moreover, when a social activist further asked the woman on her condition, she blurted out the truth and said that she has been sexually exploited and tormented by unidentified perverts.
Based on the doctor’s report and the woman’s plight, Gittikhadan Woman Ppolice Sub-Inspector Bawankar has registered offences against the unidentified offenders under Sections 376(2)(G)(L) of IPC and mounted a hunt to nab them.
