Nagpur: On the eve of Republic Day January 26, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced three medals to Homeguards and Civil Defence of Maharashtra. Kashinath Radka Kurkute, Assistant Deputy Controller (CD), Eknath Jagannath Sutar, Platoon Commander (HG),Parmeshwar Kerba Jawade, Officer Commanding and Monika Ashok Shimpi, Home Guard have been bestowed with the award.
Dr B K Upadhyay, DG Police and Commandant General, Homeguards, Maharashtra has expressed his gratification and congratulated all the medal awardees.
