Mayor Sole inaugurates Biometric Attendance Machines on Maharashtra Day at NMC

For recording attendance of Nagpur Municipal Corporation staff, bio-metric machines have been installed at NMC civil lines office, zonal and other offices. They were formally inaugurated at the hands of mayor Anil Sole on Maharashtra  Day. Municipal Commissioner Shyam Wardhane, additional commissioner Hemant Kumar Pawar were present on the occasion. The function was held at new Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Administrative building.

Due to installation of these machines the staff members will have to record attendance and it will imbibe discipline in the staff ensuring smooth functioning of official duties. Those employees whose attendance is irregular in machine will be marked on leave and will get salary accordingly as calculated by the machine.

The departmental heads as well as the concerned employees can see the attendance on server. The department heads can even check the attendance of their staff from their office itself. The work has been allotted to M/s Estben System and Software Pvt Ltd. Shubham Londhe and Amit Munshi will look to the functioning of the machine on behalf of the company.

Present on the occasion were civic body member Gautam Patil, additional deputy commissioner Pramod Bhusari, superintending engineer Prakash Urade, deputy director of health services, Dr Milind Ganvir, deputy director accounts, Suvarna Pande, nagar mantri, Sanjay Gaikwad, vikas mantri Rahul Walke, executive engineer Sanjay Jaiswal, executive engineer Shyam Chavan, Dilip Jamgade, special officer Ranjana Lade, Dr Ashok Urkute, assistant commissioner Mahesh Dhamecha and all department heads and officers and staff.
