Satanwari village was covered with smoke in the wee hours of Monday as fire broke in a plywood company at Satanwari village, 45 km from Nagpur.
The fire broke at around 5 am in Vyankatesh Coroneal Plywood company at Satanwari village, situated at Nagpur-Amravati Highway on Monday. The local fire department attempted to extinguish the fire but failed. Thus, 2-3 fire tenders from Civil Lines, Nagpur left for the purpose. Till filing of the report, fire tenders were trying to extinguish the fire. The fire was visible from even the highway where smoke had clouded the sky.
According to the sources, this is the second incidence of fire in the company. However, the reason behind the earlier fire and this fire were not detected. Firemen are using Hydraulic machine to to control the massive fire. Fortunately, no casualty has taken place, but, the plywood inside the company has turned to ashes. With inflammable chemicals kept inside the company, the fire spread with a greater speed.
