Nagpur: A centring mason met a tragic death when he fell off second floor of an under-construction building in WCL Colony in Mankapur area on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased, Rubit Bonde (19) was a native of Balaghat (MP) but was currently staying in Gittikhadan locality. Around 1.30 pm on Sunday, Rubit was working on iron centring at second floor of an under-consruction building situated at KRC Lawn Main Road, near Sarkar Bar in WCL Colony. Suddenly, he slipped from the centring and came crashing down. Nearby people rushed him to Mayo Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries around 5.30 pm while undergoing treatment.

Mankapur cops have registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.
