Nagpur: Six masked men, armed with sharp edged weapons, looted a petrol pump near Padole Square on Tuesday night and also injured an employee there. The miscreants robbed the cash of Rs 40000 on the knife point and also took away a mobile phone with them. The injured staff Sanjay Baone later complained the matter to the Pratap Nagar police station, following which case was registered against the identified men who were still at large.

Police sources said Baone, resident of Panchgaon Bazaar chowk on Umred Road, was on duty at 11 pm on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, 6 men barged into the petrol pump and attacked Baone with knife. The robbers snatched away cash of Rs 40000 which Baone had with him. When other employees rushed to intervene, they were threatened at the knife point. All the criminals fled the spot.

Sources said no customer was there at the time of incident which made the evil designs easy for the miscreants. Further investigation was on.
