Married woman are often the soft targets for violent men. They are often burnt for not fulfilling the dowry demands. In a similar incident that occurred in Kalamna area, a married lady was found in a completely burnt state. The woman was taken to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
However, during the preliminary investigations, the doctors declared her brought dead.
The victim is identified as Chameli Nakul Verma aged 24 years and a resident of Deepti Signal and the wife of Nakul Verma. When the nieghbours noticed her in the brunt state, they rushed her to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (Mayo) for treatment. However, the doctors declared her brought dead.
The Kalamna Police has registered a case and are investigating the cause of the death.
