Nagpur: In a sensational incident, a man sleeping on footpath was stoned to death by unidentified person(s) opposite Pandav Complex near Medical College Square here on Wednesday night. The murdered man was found with deep head injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Bhaurao Khobragade (40). Ajay was a liquor addict. His two sons live with their uncle (Ajay’s elder brother Ranjit) in New Babulkheda. The deceased used to visit them occasionally.
It is learnt that Ajay used to pull rickshaw or sometimes worked in hotels. His youngest son is studying in Class X and has paper today.
Ajni police have launched investigation to ascertain reason behind murder of Ajay Khobragade and establish identity of the killer(s).
