Man returns to Nagpur from Haridwar safely, but gets robbed near home

Nagpur News: Four unidentified persons looted a youth who travelling in a cycle rickshaw to his house from Railway after returning to Nagpur from Haridwar. The incident took place at Nag Nadi bridge near Kashibai Temple Square at about 2.30 am of Friday under Kotwali Police Station jurisdiction. The victim has been identified Deepak Tarachand Junghare (31), a resident of Siraspeth. Deepak arrived in Nagpur in the wee hours of Friday and took a cycle rickshaw to return home. As soon as the rickshaw reached Nag Nadi bridge near Kashibai Temple Square, four youths in age group of 22-25 years came from back and surrounded Deepak. After threatening Deepak they grabbed Rs 5000 cash, two Samsung mobile phones, cloths kept in the bag, a set top box and important documents from him and decamped from the spot.

Police have registered an offence against the four unidentified accused under sections 392 and 34 of IPC and are investigating matter and also searching for the accused.
