Nagpur News : Days after a four-year-old breathed her last at Care hospital in Nagpur after being raped in Madhya Pradesh, a nine-year-old girl was admitted to the same hospital on Friday after being raped a week ago in Madhya Pradesh.
The nine-year-old MP rape victim is said to be critical and doctors suggested moving her to Nagpur because her injuries were grievous.
The minor girl was gang raped by two persons at Akhetpur village in Madhya Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
The victim, a Class IV student, had gone to a nearby jungle on Tuesday for grazing goats and was returning home when she was stopped by the accused Mahendra Kol and Amit Kol, who took turns to rape her.
The bleeding victim somehow managed to reach home late in the evening and narrated the ordeal to her parents.
Shahdol Superintendent of Police GG Pandey said both the accused, aged around 24, were arrested from the village on Wednesday.
A case under Section 376 D and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, has been registered.
