Nagpur: A 23-year old man lured a minor girl with marriage promise and raped her frequently at his house. The accused has been booked.
The accused, Nikhil Hemant Vasani (23), resident of Chhapru Nagar, near Shri Sai Trading Company, Lakadganj, befriended the 19-year old girl and later ‘promised’ to marry her. With these promising words, the accused Nikhil called her to his house many times between June 20 and September 21, 2017 and raped her. However, when the accused flatly refused to keep his “promise” and started shunning the victimised girl, she registered a case against him with Lakadganj police.
PSI Nehare has booked the accused Nikhil Vasani under Section 376(2)(N) of the IPC and probing the case further.
