Nagpur: A 30-year old man not only outraged modesty of a woman over petty issue of 2-month old puppy but also displayed his pervert mind by killing the pet animal in cruel manner. The awful incident took place in Gittikhadan area here on Friday night. The accused has been booked but has not been arrested as yet.
The accused, Abhishek Arun Ingle, a resident of Gittikhadan, picked quarrel with the neighbouring 25-year old woman over her 2-month old puppy. During the wordy duel, the accused abused and heckled the young woman. He also indulged in indecent gestures and vulgar acts and thus outraged her modesty. Not content with his nasty acts, the accused Abhishek Ingle snatched the puppy and took it to nearby Kendriya Vidyalaya premised. He killed the pet animal by kicking it repeatedly. Aghast by the cruel act of the accused, the woman lodged a complaint against him with Gittikhadan police.
PSI S L Wakde has booked the accused Abhishel Ingle under Sections 354, 509, 506, 504, 429 of the IPC read with Sub-Section 11(1)(T) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Sub-Section 199 of Mumbai Police Act. Further probe is underway.
