Nagpur News : An middle aged man identified as Gyaneshwar Solankhi, a resident of Bharat Nagar was found dead with his throat slit on Dighori ring road on Monday evening. The deceased, with white shirt and black pants, was found lying by the passers-by and later nearby Nandanwan police were informed.
Nandanwan police, while investigating the spot, found a cell phone nearby. The cell phone helped them to get the deceased’s identity and also informed his parents.
Solankhi’s parents told police that he had left home round 11.30 to see a girl for his marriage. Solankhi, 35, a security guard was in search of a perfect bride for him. Parents informed that he was a drunkard but was never involved in any rivalry. Cops are still clueless about the motive and accused behind his murder.
The murder graph seems to have reached its peak from pas few weeks in the city. Last week, city polcie reported 11 murders in 9 days. While city police are busy cracking one murder case, another news of murder baffled them and burdened them with investiagtions.
