Nagpur: A man was booked for slapping his wife and also robbing her of mobile phone and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 94,000, Hudkeshwar police said.
According to police, the incident took place on August 20. Accused Chetan Anil Tekam (30), a resident of Sharda Chowk, New Kailas Nagar, slapped his wife Meena Sanjay Raut (38) and santched away her mobile phone and gold ornaments.
A case under Sections 379, 323 and 506 of Indian Penal Code was registered by Hudkeshwar police against Chetan Tekam.
