Nagpur: A fraudster withdrew Rs 3.44 lakh from the bank account of a man who died in January this year, Sitabuldi police said after registering a case.
The complaint was given by Jairam Pralhad Ghaturkar (38), a resident of Plot No. 15, Vaibhav Nagar, Dighori, and Manager of Axis Bank.

According to police, Rs 3,44,506 were withdrawn from the bank account of Nandram Raipure by encashing a cheque with forged signature.
A case under Sections 465, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC was registered by Sitabuldi police against the unidentified fraudster.
