Nagpur: Pachpaoli police on Wednesday arrested a man for cricket betting. A police team raided Sher-e-Punjab Beer Bar situated near Automotive Square and arrested Pankaj Chiranjilal Rathi (35), a resident of Itwari Balaji Mandir, for betting on Bangladesh-England one-day cricket match.
The cops have seized two mobile phones, and cash collectively worth Rs 15,000 from his possession. He has been booked under Sections 4, 5 of Gambling Act.
