Nagpur: Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Saturday announced that beautification of Kamptee’s historic Shrikshetra Rani Talao (lake) and its premises will be done on priority under Local Pilgrimage Develoment Scheme. “Rs 150 crore have already been made available for beautification of Talao and garden. The work should be completed within the stipulated timeframe,” Bawankule directed the concerned authorities.
He further said that while carrying out the beautification work of Shrikshetra Rani Talao its historic existence must also be maintained. At the same time facilities for those coming to the place should also be developed in a planned manner. Similarly, roads, sheds and other works in crematorium premises should also be done on priority along with beautification of Rani Talao, the minister stressed.
At the outset, Vivek Mamtani, Ajay Agrawal, and others welcomed Bawankule. Others present on the occasion include Smita Jaiswal, Tehsildar Sachin Gosavi, Group Development Officer Sachin Suryavanshi, officials and office-bearers of Kamptee Nagar Parishad.
