Nagpur News: The MIDC police have arrested a man for abetting suicide by his wife. According to police, Ashvini Rajesh Borkar (30), resident of 41, Sainagar, Hingna Road, Nagpur, was Panchayat Samiti member and was active in social and political fields.
Several times, she used to go out of house in the night hours for some social or political works and used to return home in the late night hours. However, her husband, Rajesh Balkrushna Borkar, (36), started doubting her character without a thought. He then started torturing her, both physically, mentally, and abusing with choicest words since 2008. Fed up with the torture, Ashvini decided to escape the agony, and subsequently committed suicide by hanging in her house. On the complaint lodged by Nathhu Madhavrao Meshram (70), resident of 52, Sujata Layout, Indraprasth Nagar, Sonegaon, MIDC police PSI Gurav registered an offence under Section 306 of the IPC against Rajesh Borkar and investigating the matter futher.
