Nagpur: A major leakage has been developed on 600mm dia. Kanhan Feeder line near the I/C of 600 x 400 mm dia at exactly Opposite Namantar Shahid Smarak, Dus Number Puliya Square on Kamptee road.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Orange City Water (OCW) have jointly planned to plug the major leakage by taking emergency work today (December 3) night itself.
As the stretch from Dus Puliya Number square to Indora square on Kamptee road is having heavy traffic, so to minimize the traffic problems to citizens, team of NMC-OCW technical experts has planned to start its leakage plugging work from 10.30 pm and by working overnight leakage will be plugged.
All the safety and security measures have been taken on the site with arrangement of well sufficient barricades at site.
Following this emergency leakage plugging work following areas from Satranjipura zone may remain affected on Dec 4 morning: Jyotinagar, Lashkari Bagh, Ghusaripura, Khadan, Nava Nakasha Saw Mill area, Aawale Babu Square to Kamal Chowk, Kuradkar Peth and Ambedkar colony.
