Here are the post Nagpur Today’s news got after the malpractice of Mahindra Lifespaces was exposed.

Expressing his dissatisfaction over the Mahindra Bloomdale’s cheap construction quality, a user named Peeyush, Product Specialist at Aricent, posted, “I saw this flat and its poor condition.
Bathroom space issue and its fitting, low quality plastic. Switches are broken. Kota marbles used, Tiles not properly placed and have gaps. Its a cheating with customers. Our property possession was delayed by more than one year. And Mahindra representative assuring that Mahindra is corporate company. But forgot the company ethics and values.”

Then Swarnalata Choudhary from Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur, posted, “We have also seen the condition of building and construction is very very poor and building is looking like built by some third class builder. No CCTV cameras which is very shocking. Railings used are of iron and of very poor quality and design.I also saw that broken door duplex. We asked Mr Sreenivasan, he replied so funny that ‘nobody has come to live that’s why it has broken’. The built quality is so poor when I saw it was like a dangerous and bad dream.

Another user Sudip Dilip Banerjee whose profile reads he is Head Muscat Sales at Mazda Oman, posted, “There have been many such issues, incidents reported to Mahindra. The sample flats are state of art the actuals are contrast. The doors and the locks used are all cheap quality. Tiles not cemented. Hollow cracks in floors. Seepages also. For every issue brought to their notice they will fix it the reply. I am duplex owner under construction. Really worried. U don’t pay Rs 1 cr for this.”

In fact, Sudip Banerjee has appealed to all the affected buyers to join the what’s app group at his number 96899377927. He appealed, “Message me, will add u. Many victims are in the group already.”

Rajib Chakraborty · President (title) at Voice of the world has then appealed Banerjee to open Facebook page and get all customers come together against Mahindra Lifespaces as Whatsapp can acccomodate 256 members only.

Amol Chhapanimohan, Business Development – Petrochemicals at Indian Oil Corporation posted, “Bloomdale guys are not allowing for inspection of under construction flats and one could see their own house only after possession. Most of the defects can be avoided/rectified then and there itself if they allow customers for scrutiny during building stage itself.”

However this practice only points to Mahindra Lifespaces’ ill intent behind debarring buyers from inspecting their own properties.

Agreeing with him, Peeyush adds, “Thats true. Mahindra guys just repeat same sentence that we are corporate company. I think they want to hide these major issue by not allowing and avoid major architect flaw.”

Ath Csn at Kyaw Sonic posted, “De blocking flat owners to visit others flat r construction so that de can fool each n every clients on individual basis. That’s d trick. Developers should make open to view d construction of whole project as well as consider the clients suggestions.”

Nikhil Ramakrishnan of IIT Bombay was also looking forward to bring his issues against illegal construction malpractice at Bloomdale Nagpur.

When Nagpur Today reached out to Mahindra Lifespaces, its official spokesperson came up with same old general reply, “Bloomdale has been developed as per approved plans, and in compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and norms. As shared earlier, safety and quality are our highest priorities, and we continue to address all customer queries related to either aspect with urgency. We encourage our customers to communicate with us through multiple official channels and ensure appropriate remedial action where concerns are established to be genuine. We have handed over homes to more than 300 customers at Bloomdale and 70+ families have already moved in, following the due process with respect to readiness of the project from a liveability point of view.”.

However the spokesperson of Mahindra Lifespaces failed to reply why the quality of construction happened to be of so poor quality that is now posing serious life threat to the residents and buyers.
