Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the schedule for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for the 2026-27 academic year. Board Secretary Dr Deepak Mali announced the examination dates on Thursday, September 17.
The Class 12 written examinations will be held from February 8 to March 16, 2027. The practical, grade and oral examinations for Class 12 will be conducted from January 20 to February 6, 2027.
The Class 10 written examinations will take place from February 15 to March 11, 2027, while the practical, grade and oral examinations will be held from January 28 to February 13, 2027.
The final Class 10 and Class 12 examinations will be conducted under the state’s nine divisional boards: Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.
While the provisional schedule is usually announced in July or August every year, the examination dates have been announced in September this year. The board said the schedule was released early to give students sufficient time to plan their examinations and studies.
The Class 10 and Class 12 results are generally announced by the end of May or in the first week of June. Supplementary examinations for students who have failed or are appearing to improve their grades are generally conducted from the third week of July.
