Nagpur News : As the dates of the Lok Sabha elections are declared, the examination department of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) is planning to reschedule its summer examinations. On Wednesday a meeting regarding this matter was held by the varsity administration, though it is not clear whether how much the examinations will get influenced by the elections.
According to the sources, the examinations which are commencing from March 15 and April 5 will have impact of the elections. Speculating that this might be the case, the examination department did not issue the time-table of second, third and fifth phases of examinations.
The authorities believed that if the time-table is issued, then it will be hard to bring any possible changes. The students will also face difficulties due to this.

The schedule of first and second year of BA B.Sc and B.Com along with certificate and diploma program examinations is issued. It has been speculated that the curriculum of BA first year and last year along with B.Sc can be suspended due to the reason that they will be conducted during April 8 to 10.
The examination coordinator Vilas Ramteke was contacted with regards to this matter. He said that examination department authorities are thinking on this matter. He also said that the schedule of the examination is ready, we are awaiting for declaration of the election dates.
