
Nagpur: A bitter love triangle exploded into violence on Tuesday night, when a 22-year-old youth was brutally murdered at Gadikhana Ground in the Ganeshpeth Police Station area of Nagpur. Cops have arrested 3 accused in this connection.
The deceased has been identified as Aman Gautam Meshram, a resident of NIT Garden, Old Bagadganj near Buddha Vihar, Nagpur, who worked with Blinkit.
Aman and the woman involved in the case, both originally from Bhandara district, had been living together in a live-in relationship. However, differences arose and the woman decided to part ways. Soon after, Aman allegedly discovered that she had started a new relationship with Amit Shiwarkar (23), a hotel employee from Yavatmal.
Unable to accept the breakup, Aman reportedly made repeated attempts to convince the woman to return, leading to escalating tension. The woman is said to have informed Amit about the constant pressure, after which Amit had repeatedly warned Aman to stay away. The rivalry between the two young men had been intensifying for the past few days.
On Tuesday around 10 pm, Amit allegedly called Aman to Gadikhana Ground, offering a chance to resolve the matter face-to-face. Two accomplices of Amit were also present. What began as a conversation rapidly spiralled into a violent altercation. Eyewitnesses reported that Amit, in a fit of rage, pulled out a sharp weapon and attacked Aman. The critically injured Aman was rushed to Medical Hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon examination.

Following a complaint filed by Praniti Gautam Khobragade (22), resident of Gandhinagar, Bhajimandi, Kamptee, an offence was registered at the Ganeshpeth Police Station under Sections 103(1), 352, and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code.
Acting promptly, police traced and arrested all three accused namely Amit Ramrao Shiwarkar (23), resident of House No. 185, Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Bhandewadi, Pardi, Nagpur, Hemant Chaitanyeshwar Bagde (25), resident of Ramnagar, Bazartoli, Shahapur, District Bhandara and Tejaswini Jagan Kawale (21), resident of Khambadi Borgoan, Tehsil Pauni, District Bhandara, currently residing in Nagpur. Further investigation is currently underway, under the supervision of investigating officer PSI Sonawane.
