Laptop, cash stolen from two cars

Nagpur News : Within two hours, thieves targeted two cars parked at separate places; one of it parked a few steps near the police chowky, and made away with laptop and cash worth Rs 1.3 lakhs on Saturday afternoon.

Gittikhadan resident, Dinesh Suryavanshi has parked his car at Shewalkar building complex near Mate Square around 10.30 am. The building complex even had a police chowky. While he had gone to meet a relative, thieves smashed the rear door window and made away with laptop from the car right under the cops nose. Interestingly, none of the cops present at police chowky found anything suspicious. Suryavanshi has reported the loss of laptop worth Rs 45,000 at Rana Pratap Nagar police station.

Other incident took place within 15 minutes at Hindustan Colony in Ambazari police station area. Shivaji Nagar residence Raghu Khemka parked his car at noon. He returned after few minutes to find the left car window shattered and two bags having cash Rs 80,000 was stolen.
