LAD girls exalt the noble cause at SCZCC Wagh Utsav

The Vidarbha Economic Development Council and the South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), supported by MTDC, organized their third Wagh Utsav 2015 recently that saw three days of galore at the SCZCC premises.

To add to the event were pretty young ladies glittering on ramp. The Fashion-Show being put up by the Department of Fashion Design of LAD College, was themed on the wildlife footprint. Harsha Jharia, HOD, Fashion Design, LAD College, also the event director and choreographer, informed that the students taking part were from the PG Dept. of Fashion Design who designed the garments. The first segment consisted of western casuals to promote wildlife tourism and the second segment being on western formals designed on different themes of wildlife like snakes, leopards, tigers, etc and flora. The students have shown their creativity in the designs, making them feel very inspired while working very hard for the show, Jharia said.

While Faculty Member, Vibha Gotmare, has guided the students in the creation of the costumes, Nidhi Gandhi, Fashion Designer & Stylist guided them with the make-up and styling.
